Tesla leads in internet searches among automakers

Tesla and its super villain CEO, Elon Musk, have been an internet sensation. In fact, Tesla has been the searched more often on Google than any other car brand in the U.S.

Google has just released its list of the top searches for the past year, and Tesla Motors was the No.1-searched for car brand in the US. Bugatti, Mini, Ford and Jeep rounded out the top five most popular searches.
