Valve’s Gabe Newell says Steam game hardware announcement coming next week

Are we finally about to learn more about the “Steam Box”? Mastermind Gabe Newell dropped hints that next week is the time when we’ll finally get a taste of the gaming system that could combine the flexibility and power of PC gaming with the ease and simplicity of console gaming.

Valve will next week reveal more details about the gaming hardware it has been developing.

Valve boss Gabe Newell made the announcement during a keynote speech at the LinuxCon 2013 conference.
