Xiaomi Youpin has confirmed the introduction of the MIJIA Smart Audio Glasses 2, which the company has officially announced. With a low price of 999 Yuan, the crowdfunding campaign is scheduled to launch on March 26 at 10 AM. The announcement comes after rumors circulated that Xiaomi’s AI-powered smart glasses will rival Meta’s Ray-Ban partnership.

With significant design improvements, the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses 2 are a sleeker and more comfortable option than the previous year’s model. The temple arms of the revised frame are only 5 mm thick, making it 26% thinner at its narrowest point and 30% thinner at its broadest. With a weight of just 27.6g, the glasses are now more equally distributed to relieve pressure from the nose and provide comfort for an extended period of time.

Developed over a period of one year, the frame’s sophisticated “piano steel ultra-flexible hinge” ensures longevity even after 15,000 bends. The glasses also include a second-generation quick-release system that enables one-handed lens shifting due to its 70% thinner hinge design. Five different frame types are available: deep-space titanium, classic Boston, hybrid aviator, metal aviator, and hybrid browline.
