Coffee Printer Takes Latte Art to the Next Level

Coffee Art

One could argue that it takes latte art up five levels.

In this video by rnzohar, the concept of putting drinkable images on the foam of your latte or cappuccino goes well beyond flowers and seashells. While not the first mechanical “java printer” it is definitely the most detailed that we’ve seen.

For non-coffee-drinkers, it also works on the head of pint of beer. For non-beer-, non-coffee-drinkers, perhaps a bubble bath would do.

Either way, the creator has a dilemma:

I can not figure out a reasonable way to turn into anything except for a temporary curiosity.

Any ideas?

Here is one of the predecessors that hit the Internet a couple of years ago. It’s like comparing a Macbook Pro to an Apple 2C, and just like the Apple 2C, this printer was awesome in its time.

  1. This would be huge at trade shows.. most companies can only hand out food or drink… sell one to every promotions company.. or rent them… please send me a minor percent of your eventual fortunes..

  2. I’m with Chad on this one. DEFINATELY for trade shows. Find a barista that works at shows and conventions and do a deal with him/her. It will boost his appeal and he can simply charge extra for the option – which goes straight to you!

  3. I live in Italy, overwhelmed by the coffee print…..pls- send me the e-mail adrs- of the guy who invented this marvelous idea…ciao, Uri
