Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, and Eric Schmidt walk into a bar. The bartender says, “Hey, I’m Barack Obama.”
Not funny? That’s because it wasn’t really a joke. The setting will likely not be a bar, but the four leaders of arguably the most influential entities in the world will be meeting on Thursday with other business leaders in San Francisco. Will the sheer gravity of the event tilt the world on its axis?
Throw in GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt and it just might happen.
“The president and the business leaders will discuss our shared goal of promoting American innovation, and discuss his commitment to new investments in research and development, education and clean energy,” a White House official said.
As the President pushes his State of the Union vision of increased innovation and technological advancements, the key players will gather to hear his “pitch.”
Our only question: Where’s Steve Ballmer?
Update: It looks like The Oatmeal answered our question.
Im sure he bored them with a speech!
Hahahahaha now that’s the funniest shit i’ve seen in a while. Good one Oatmeal! This is why you rule!
+40,000 cool points
“new investments in research and development, education and clean energy” … Cuz we all now how generous Apple is with money!
So what is Mr. Greedy really doing there??
– Mark, your making the people more social!?
– And Eric, you’re letting them search and find eachother..
– Steve, you eeh. You’re then suing them for something stupid.
– Okay, all set then!
*hahah*
I’d much rather see Sergey Brin & Larry Page than Eric Schmidt in that meeting.
