Once upon a time… okay, it doesn’t really start off that way for we all know that the alarm clock is no fairy tale, they are very real. In fact, most of us would not have been able to get out of bed this morning without one. Who knew that something so small could make such a loud sound that wakes us so abruptly from our peaceful sleep? However, it did not begin that way for us humans; we used other means to wake us from our slumber long before the alarm clock.
