Feinstein's NSA reform bill is missing the whole "reform" aspect

Congress is playing the role of being on the side of the people prior to elections that will be heating up in a couple of months. They’re all saying the right rhetoric, making the right claims, and attempting to position themselves on the right side of the NSA line. The result of their proposed bill to limit NSA power says something completely different.

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) has been one of the most stalwart defenders of widespread NSA surveillance since leaks with information about the programs started seeping out nearly five months ago. Civil libertarians and reformers have been none too pleased with her rhetoric—and they’re not going to get any happier after reading the bill she introduced today.
