Sony’s Video Unlimited service now has a season pass feature

Sony has introduced a new feature for the PlayStation Store and its Video Unlimited service, allowing users to buy full seasons of featured content at a discount. PSN shoppers can now queue up a full season of their favorite shows with a single “Buy Season” purchase. The feature is available for the PlayStation 3 and online via the PS Store this week, and support for the PlayStation 4, Bravia TVs, and Blu-ray players is coming soon.

Sony is introducing a season pass feature to its video streaming service, Video Unlimited. Sony announced the new addition in a blog post. Starting today, the Video Unlimited section on PlayStation 3, online and mobile PlayStation stores, will be getting the season pass feature. The feature allows you to purchase the full season of any of the available TV shows in one transaction. Season passes are also available for seasons that are currently running, like The Walking Dead. A new “buy season” button will be introduced to the hub of any of the available shows. Any purchased episodes will appear under the “My Videos” section. Sony is also offering some discounts on season passes to celebrate the launch.
