Bethesda has released a Fallout-themed messaging app

With less than a week to go before Fallout 4 launches, Bethesda has released a new Fallout-themed messaging app called Fallout CHAT in order to hold us off. Considering how the company has been releasing a nice stream of teaser videos for a few months, not to mention the leaked gameplay from earlier this week, it’s hard to think the company managed to find a way to get us even more hype.

We can hardly express our excitement for the Nov. 10 release of Fallout 4, but this new app is making it a bit easier to show our emotions through the modern communication tool of the beloved emoji. Bethesda has launched a new app called Fallout C.H.A.T. for iOS and Android, which allows users to text fellow Fallout fans in their contacts using emojis and GIFs from Wasteland. The Fallout-themed keyboard comes with more with 60 Fallout emojis that include Vault Boy giving the thumb up, a super mutant’s face, explosive debris, Fallout 4’s dog wearing a bandanna, a space monkey and Nuka Cola, along with a handful of Vault Boy GIFs. Users can also send actual words in the fonts and styles that are seen in the game. The “Vault-Tec approved communication” app is available in nine different languages, including English, French, Italian and Spanish. There are mild references for alcohol and tobacco references, along with some crude humor that is familiar with the franchise.
