Netmarble declared that Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, an action-adventure role-playing game, would be available on PC and mobile devices.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has an official license for the game on behalf of HBO for all mobile platforms and PCs through Windows Launcher, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Non-Asian global regions will all have access to Kingsroad. Later this year, the launch schedule for Asia will be revealed. Watch the debut trailer that was made public today.

As players assume the role of a new individual who, by a strange twist of destiny, becomes the heir to House Tyre, a minor noble house in the North, a whole new story is waiting to be discovered.

There are three classes available: Knight, Sellsword, or Assassin, all of which are based on famous characters from the original series. Players participate in conflicts that suit their preferred style as the game deftly replicates the distinct combat mechanics and abilities of each class, adding depth and excitement to class-based planned combat.

Throughout the game, players will come across legendary creatures, such as the beloved Drogon, who manifests as a Field Boss, which is based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of both Fire and Fire novels. All Mythical beasts are among the other animals that are creatively and captivatingly brought to life for the first time in this form.

After much research, the game properly recreates both unexplored territories and beloved TV places, bringing the continent of Westeros to life with amazing scale and detail. In the game’s expansive open world, players may investigate the seven kingdoms that comprise Westeros, learning about their diverse landscapes, enormous cities, backwater towns, uncultivated wilderness, and the unwavering lives of their inhabitants.

Immersive Plot Taking Place in Westeros

Players must negotiate Westeros’ complicated political system as they set out to rebuild their family’s honour. With cameos from well-known characters like Varys, Cersei Lannister, and Jon Snow, the story ties in with the events of the first series.

Discover Westeros in a New Way

Kingsroad offers a vast, open-world Westeros that was meticulously constructed with lore and extensive world-building. Along with brand-new areas never seen in the series, iconic landmarks have been accurately reproduced. Players will travel through:

  • Storm’s End, Felwood,
  • King’s Landing,
  • Castle Black,
  • Wall Highgarden (newly included in Chapter 3)

Revenue Generation and Reception

The game’s monetization strategy has drawn criticism despite its ambitious scale. Early access evaluations have been divided as a result of certain players’ concerns over in-game purchases and progression obstacles. Netmarble has taken note of these issues and is making changes to enhance the gaming experience. Chapter 3 also has an additional boss creature, the Unicorn at the Altar of Memories.

Significant Content Expansion in Chapter 3

Chapter 3 is now available at the full launch of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, which was first made available in Early Access on Steam in March.

  • New areas that can be explored
  • fierce skirmishes and boss fights
  • Narrative developments and new characters
  • Additional world lore and side missions

With additional content, refinement, and gameplay variation for players to enjoy and experiment with, this most recent release draws on community input from Early Access.
