Foxconn reportedly sets aside $6.8 million for a wearable computing startup fund

Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn is setting up a $6.8 million investment fund targeting startups that are working on producing new kinds of wearable computers.

Foxconn Technology Group, maker of Apple Inc. (AAPL) iPhones and iPads, is launching an investment fund to finance startups developing new kinds of wearable computers, according to two people familiar with the project.
