Samsung CEO denies the existence of a “premium” Galaxy S5

Despite rumors to the contrary, Samsung Mobile bossman JK Shin promises the company has no plans to pull a fast one on those scurrying out to buy their new Galaxy S5 next month. Speaking to Korean media, the CEO adamantly denied reports of a “premium” version of the latest flagship, which many believe to be slated for release later this year.

Samsung head honcho, fresh off unveiling an assortment of fancy new gadgetry last month, says a more premium version of the Galaxy S5 isn’t in the works. Dreams dashed. All hope is lost. Those rumors we’ve heard suggesting the Korean company will introduce a device with a metal body and Quad HD display are seemingly unfounded. But it could just be that Samsung CEO, JK Shin, is purposely misleading media since the Galaxy S5 hasn’t even been released yet. There’s already huge demand, so why undermine the hype now?
