The app can be downloaded and offers personalized shopping suggestions for each item from the newly launched App Store in India. The app allows Indian users to customize their Mac with enhanced chips, additional memory or storage along with providing customers the advantage of arranging delivery or pickup of their purchased items.
Expansion Strategy in India:
The company's first physical stores were opened in Mumbai and Delhi in 2023, the plan is to expand into Bengaluru, Pune, and other parts of Mumbai. This move is part of Apple's overall strategy to build a strong presence in India. Karen Rasmussen, Apple's Head of Retail Online, explained that contributing to our existing customers in India through innovative retail solutions and efforts to expand our reach is the main purpose and upcoming move of the company.
Personalized Experiences:
Beyond just shopping, the app offers post-purchase assistance along with Apple experts offering to set up an online session. Furthermore, Apple provides customers with options for trade-ins and financing free training and ad-free engraving services on devices like AirPods or iPads in eight languages. The expansion of Apple's manufacturing operations outside of China is making India, the second-largest smartphone market in the world.
