Cellcom users across the region have been hit by a major outage, leaving many unable to make phone calls or send text messages. The company confirmed the issue on social media, stating:

“We’re currently experiencing an outage affecting our voice network. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue and restore full service as quickly as possible. We understand how disruptive this can be and appreciate your patience.”

According to Cellcom, while the voice network is temporarily down, users can still use mobile data and access services like iMessaging, RCS messaging, and third-party apps such as WhatsApp without any interruption.

“We want to reassure you that while our voice network is experiencing an outage, data and text services are still operational. You can continue to utilize these services without interruption.”

Emergency services remain fully available. Cellcom confirmed that 911 calls are still functional, ensuring customer safety during the disruption. Thank you for your understanding and patience, the company added, promising to provide updates as they work to fix the issue.
