DJI has just introduced the Mavic 4 Pro, its most powerful, feature-packed, and advanced drone to date. With industry-leading capabilities in flight time, camera quality, and intelligent tracking, it sets a new standard for what aerial cinematography can achieve. But here’s the twist: it’s not launching in the United States.

Why It’s Not Coming to the US

Despite its global launch, DJI has no plans to release the Mavic 4 Pro in the US for now. The company cites:

  • Trump-era tariffs as a major obstacle.
  • Ongoing US Customs delays, which have held up DJI shipments for over seven months.

DJI also clarified that it won’t honor warranties for US customers who try to import the drone from Canada or Mexico. DJI spokesperson Daisy Kong said

“We’re currently reassessing the market conditions and developments, and will share any updates once we have completed a full evaluation. Please rest assured that we are making every effort to protect the interests of our customers.”
