On Monday, Gloo, a technology firm based in Boulder, Colorado, that delivers services to Christian churches and faith organizations, announced that Gelsinger would become Head of Technology and Executive Chairman. He will then be responsible for developing artificial intelligence tools, including chatbots and virtual assistants for religious communities.

For the first time since leaving the chip company, Gelsinger chose Gloo as his first operational involvement outside of Intel. He left last year after conflicts with the board regarding his strategy for turning the company around.
