Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE 4) VR mode, by Capcolm, is close to hitting a huge milestone, with almost 200,000 players diving into the virtual reality of a horror-packed world at PlayStation VR2. The original game was launched in 2023 but thte VR Mode came 8 months later and has gained a significant interest since its arrival.
According to Upload, almost 199,515 players have hit the game in VR, making up 2.18% of the total player base according to a report by a Japanese publisher. Even though the RE 4 remake stats are promising but they are still behind the Resident Evil 7, which is only available on PlayStaion VR on PS 4.
No Stats For Resident Evil Village
Although Capcolm has still not revealed stats for Resident Evil Village but data points are available for the game, which tell the total time spent on VR mode, adding up to a cumulative of 164 years. Moreover, players can track completion rates across various levels.
Positive Reception For Resident Evil 4
According to IGN’s review of Resident Evil 4, it received a total score of 9.8. Some critics called it a “definitive VR version” and a “must-have” for PSVR2 owners. Capcolm is continuously improving its VR games, and this release is considered the most refined and captivating version.
The VR mode of Resident Evil 4 Remake is only available on PlayStaion VR2, but the good news is that players can still download a free demo.
