T-Mobile is stepping into the future of the internet! After shaking up the wireless world, the company has now launched its fiber internet service starting June 5, 2025, bringing super-fast, reliable internet straight to homes across the U.S.
Right now, T-Mobile’s fibre internet is available for over 500,000 homes, but they plan to grow much bigger. Connect 12 to 15 million homes by 2030. Symmetrical download and upload speeds are a blessing for any application, be it movie streaming, video conferencing, or anything else.
Plan | Speed | Price without Autopay | Price with Autopay |
Fiber 500 | 500 Mbps | $80 per month | $75 per month |
|---|---|---|---|
Fiber 1 Gig | 1 Gbps | $95 per month | $90 per month |
Fiber 2 Gig | 2 Gbps | $110 per month | $105 per month |
All plans come with a promise: your price won’t go up for five years. If you pay automatically using a debit card or bank account, you get $5 off every month.
For those who sign up early and live in certain areas, T-Mobile offers a special plan called the “Fiber Founders Club.” It gives 2 Gbps speeds for just $75 a month ($70 with autopay) and locks the price for 10 years. This is a great deal for early users who want long-term savings.
Extra Perks You Get:
T-Mobile is not on its own here: They recently paired with fiber company Lumos and are in the process of buying Metronet. Such partnerships enable T-Mobile to scale more quickly and take on the internet giants such as AT&T and Verizon.
By 2030, they expect to get fiber internet to anywhere from 12 to 15 million homes, making them a formidable internet player.
T-Mobile stepping into fiber internet is a big deal. They are offering great prices, locking them for years, and working hard to bring fast internet to more people. This means more options for customers and a stronger challenge to old internet providers. The future looks bright for anyone wanting fast, affordable, and reliable internet at home.
