Uber and Delta's partnership is more than just about earning miles, it's part of a broader strategy to merge ride-hailing services with travel. This aligns with Uber's ongoing efforts to capture a larger share of the airport travel market, which remains a high-demand sector. With Delta being one of the largest airlines in the U.S. This partnership has the potential to unlock significant benefits for travelers.
Why is this important? The partnership is an automatic way for the serious flyer to earn miles without giving it a second thought. It's particularly enticing for Uber users who frequently travel to and from airports. With Delta's extensive network and Uber's global footprint, this cooperation creates value for customers who are interested in a seamless travel experience.
How Uber Users Can Earn SkyMiles
Starting today, Delta SkyMiles members can easily link their accounts to begin earning rewards on Uber. Another thing that's worth noting:
- The integration of Uber and Delta is so seamless that not much else is needed from the user once the linking is completed.
- For those Uber riders that frequently use Uber to get to and from the airport, the partnership would offer a good opportunity to accrue miles in volume over time. For example, somebody who's a frequent flyer on Uber Comfort would earn miles in volume with airport transfers.

Flexibility in Other Kinds of Flights:
