X Rolling out 4K Video Feature for Creators

X Launches 4K Video Uploads to Attract Creators

Jumping on the bandwagon, Musk’s X is rolling out a video feature of 4K resolution for premium subscribers to increase their engagement time. Until now, the premium subscribers could upload 1080p videos up to 8GB in size. These videos had a time limit of three hours.

Since Musk bought the social media platform, he has been increasing the upload limit for subscribers, a strategic move to increase the user time. In January, the social media platform added a video tab for US users. This feature allowed the users to access video content by simply tapping on the icon.

A Move to Attract TikTok Creators

Amid the looming uncertainty about the ban of TikTok, the most widely used video platform by creators in the US, Musk seems to capitalize on this potential ban. This initiative will attract creators to show their creativity and content without losing their followers.

She tests devices on daily-driver cycles rather than spec-sheet skims, cross-references durability and repairability data from iFixit and JerryRigEverything, and prioritizes what actually matters after the unboxing weekend: battery longevity, software-update cadence, repair cost, and resale value. Her reviews stay skeptical of launch-day marketing.
