T-Mobile has announced the Samsung Galaxy Avant

Heads up T-Mobile customers, if you were in the market for a new handset that won’t cost you too much money, you might be interested to learn that T-Mobile has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Avant. The handset has been rumored about several times in the past but we guess it is official now. The Galaxy Avant isn’t the most high-end smartphone we’ve seen from Samsung or T-Mobile, but considering that the handset will cost customers $9 a month over 24 months, or $216 if they were to buy it outright, we guess we can’t really complain.

Starting July 30th, the new Samsung Galaxy Avant™ is available at T-Mobile stores nationwide and online for $216 (or $0 down and only $9 a month for 24 months), with all of the Un-carrier benefits with a Simple Choice plan including: zero annual service contracts, zero overages, zero hidden device costs, global roaming, and Music Freedom. Whether for work or for play, the Samsung Galaxy Avant gives customers great experience on T-Mobile’s lightning-fast nationwide 4G LTE network.
The Samsung Galaxy Avant boasts a stylish, slim design housing a powerful Quad-Core 1.2 GHz processor, 1.5GB RAM, and a brilliant 4.5” qHD screen that puts your world on display through ultra-high pixel density. Unique Samsung features further simplify the user experience, including Easy Mode to make the phone easier to navigate for first-time smartphone users, S Voice™ for convenient assistance in your daily life, and Samsung Smart Switch™ to make it even easier to transfer your content to your new device.
