CES

Every year the world of technology continues to grow, and new interesting gadgets are always introduced to the public. CES is the worlds largest consumer technology tradeshow and every year they showcase what’s new and upcoming in tech. Below is an infographic presented by BestChoiceReviews that highlights some of the CES trends for 2013.

Televisions are a big part of technology that are always changing. As consumers, we are always looking for the biggest, brightest and best TV available. This year Toshiba introduced the Ultra HD 4K TV – L9300 with an 84″ display. That’s one big TV! Whats great about this television is is converts standard 1080p content to 4K resolution without creating any artifacts in the process. Not only that, but it also uses Toshiba’s new Cloud TV platform that integrates Skype calling, personal messaging, a family event calendar, and streaming news.

Car technology is another facet of technology that is growing as we speak. This year Ford introduced “Glympse,” an app that drivers can use to let others know exactly where they are through voice commands. This real-time location-sharing app is great for those on the go that want to keep their friends and family up-to-date on their location.

Then of course we have the smartphone. How many times have you dropped your phone in a puddle, toilet, or any liquid for that matter? It happens often to a lot of us. So, have you ever wished you had a waterproof phone? This year Sony introduced the waterproof Xperia Z. Not only is this smartphone waterproof, but it has a 13 megapixel camera, 5″ display, 16GB of storage, and 2GB of memory.
