PlayStation Plus celebrates its 15th anniversary with a blockbuster July 2025 lineup featuring Diablo IV, KOF XV, and Jusant.

Sony just dropped its PlayStation Plus monthly games for July 2025, and honestly, it’s one of the few times in recent history where the lineup actually feels like a celebration. As PS Plus turned 15, fans were expecting something big, and for once, Sony didn’t fumble the opportunity.

The big three arriving: Diablo IV, The King of Fighters XV, and Jusant, offer a solid mix of blockbuster, fighting nostalgia, and quiet indie charm. From July 1 to August 4, PS4 and PS5 subscribers can dive into these titles as part of their monthly access. Nick Maguire, VP at Sony Interactive Entertainment, thanked fans and looked back at PS Plus’s 15-year evolution.

Still, appreciation doesn’t erase the rough patches. PS Plus has had its ups and downs. For many, it’s felt like the service has coasted on brand loyalty, with forgettable titles, confusing tier systems, and lackluster communication. So when Sony delivers something that feels curated and exciting, it stands out.

This July drop carries real weight. Diablo IV remains hot, especially with Season 8 launching and Blizzard working to win back players. It’s far from a dead game; it’s current and capable of taking up serious playtime. King of Fighters XV may not be mainstream, but it holds strong in the fighting game world, and the addition of “Classic Leona” DLC is a nice bonus for fans. And Jusant? A quiet, meditative climbing experience that many overlook, but one that offers a unique and beautiful journey.

When PS Plus was first launched by SONY years ago, it promised access to compelling content. But after the relaunch of Extra, Premium, and Deluxe tiers, that clarity got buried in a mess of cloud streaming jargon and catalog bloat. This isn’t simply a lineup, it’s a reminder that when Sony pays attention and curates with care, PS Plus can still deliver. Hopefully, this isn’t a one-time anniversary move but the beginning of something more consistent. Because loyalty lasts only as long as the value does.

PlayStation Plus 15th Anniversary Celebrations kick off today, June 25, with a trial of WWE 2K25 for PS Plus Premium members. A trial for Monster Hunter Wilds goes live on June 30.
