Samsung already released this year’s most anticipated Android smartphone, now we’re just waiting for it to release this year’s most anticipated Android phablet as well. We were expecting to see the Galaxy Note 5 released sometime in the fall, as usual, but some recent reports indicate that the company will release its next-generation phablet as early as July, albeit at the end of the month.
Samsung is bound to expand its Galaxy Note line-up with a brand new model later this year, and if history is any indication, the device should be introduced at IFA 2015 sometime in late August or early September. But things might not go according to Samsung’s usual M.O. and if we are to believe a new report from the company’s homeland, Sammy will allegedly release the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 near the end of July. Reportedly, the latest prototype was already showcased behind closed doors to a number of global telecom companies who may or may not offer the device on pre-order terms before its alleged late-July debut. More details right after the break. Samsung is almost certain to be working on a new Note phablet, but while most of us expect the company to hold the unveiling UnPacked event at IFA in Berlin, new rumors now suggest that the smartphone will hit the shelves much earlier than that: in late July.
