Samsung to Officially Launch Google Gemini-Powered ‘Ballie’ Robot Soon

Samsung Integrates Google Gemini AI into Ballie Robot for Smart Home Automation

Today, Google Cloud and Samsung Electronics introduced a revised collaboration to integrate Google Cloud's dynamic AI technology into Samsung's recently introduced AI companion robot, Ballie.

In order to assist users in managing their home surroundings, including lighting adjustments, door greetings, calendar personalization, notifications, and more, Ballie is expected to be able to have natural, cognitive interactions with users. This technology will be made available to customers during the summer. Check out our previous news on the Samsung new features update that allows users to take advantage of. Samsung Electronics CEO and President of the Visually Display Business Yongjae Kim highlighted the collaboration, saying, “By pairing Gemini’s powerful multimodal reasoning with Samsung’s AI capabilities in Ballie, we’re leveraging the power of open collaboration to unlock a new era of personalized AI companion — one that moves with users, anticipates their needs and interacts in more dynamic and meaningful ways than ever before.”

In January of this year, Samsung debuted a more polished version of Ballie at CES 2025 after first showcasing it at CES 2020. The latest edition is more efficient as a dynamic domestic helper because it has an integrated projector that may project media and other materials on walls or carpets.
