Gemini Live’s Video and Screensharing Features Launched for Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25

Gemini Live Launches with Video and Screensharing for Pixel 9 and Galaxy S25

In the latest news coming from Google, the tech company has begun rolling out two new Gemini Live features for Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25. The Gemini live video and screensharing features will allow users to take advantage of Gemini’s multi-modal capabilities.

Live Video

Users can activate the live video function at the push of a button and ask Gemini Live questions about anything the camera could see. For instance, users can point the camera at a fruit stall and ask Gemini Live questions about a specific fruit.

Screensharing

By tapping the screenshare button, users can show anything on their screens to Gemini Live and ask its assistance. For instance, users can open a gallery and ask Gemini Live about image details.

Google first previewed Gemini Live features at Mobile World Congress in March. The AI assistant is available in 45 languages in limited countries for adults, excluding education and enterprise accounts.

Google One AI Premium Plan

Google announced that those users who don’t have a Pixel 9 or Galaxy S25 can still access the newly launched features of Gemini Live through the Gemini app on Android. However, it requires users to subscribe to the Google One AI Premium plan, which costs $20 per month.

For learning, readers can visit Google’s YouTube video demonstrating these two features.
