The government seems to only know a few solutions to just about every problem. A “surge” is one of those solutions, but it will not help in the case of healthcare.gov.
Over the weekend, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services promised it would recruit the ”best and brightest” to fix HealthCare.gov, the federal government’s online insurance marketplace that’s part of the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare), which has been plagued by technical defects. On Monday, President Barack Obama promised a “tech surge” to fix the problems. It’s not going to happen.
