The downloads of more than 30 million people are coordinated by just three BitTorrent trackers at any given moment: OpenBitTorrent, PublicBT, and Istole.it. These three trackers are the largest in the world, and though they’ve been know to experience downtime every now and then, having all of them go down at once is very rare, but that’s exactly what happened last month. Fortunately, after weeks of slow progress, the three trackers have returned to their former glory.
