WhatsApp has realized all that waste of time! The new feature, Message Threads, is coming up soon to relieve us from constant exploration.
WhatsApp Message Threads allow;
- A better conversation management
- Through this feature, users will be able to group replies to specific messages into dedicated threads.
- It will be available for one-to-one chats, groups, and communities; however, the availability of this feature in channels is still under development.
Although no official release date has been announced yet, WhatsApp is in beta testing. As always, WhatsApp’s continuous improvements to its messaging application are cherished and appreciated by its loyal users. The feature appeared in WhatsApp beta for the Android 2.25.7.7 update, as reported by WABetaInfo in their latest article.
As per the above screenshot, WhatsApp is working on enabling this feature that will allow users to follow messages in an organized and cohesive thread.
As mentioned by WABetaInfo,
“This new feature will group all related replies directly under the original message, making it significantly easier to track ongoing conversations and discussions without the confusion of disjointed replies scattered throughout the chat. Once a user replies to a quoted message, the thread will remain connected to the original message, ensuring that all responses stay organized.”
Hence, this feature will make it easier to follow the dedicated threads in structured conversations. It is especially useful in group chats, where long discussions quickly add up and important messages are lost. So, instead of going through all the chat history and searching for specific information, users can easily navigate through threads to focus on relevant conversations. It is a highly commendable feature and will surely be appreciated by the WhatsApp community.
Notably, in February 2025, WhatsApp came up with a lot of many features, enhancing the message application with every single update. The list is long, including;
