Xiaomi Youpin has confirmed the introduction of the MIJIA Smart Audio Glasses 2, which the company has officially announced. With a low price of 999 Yuan, the crowdfunding campaign is scheduled to launch on March 26 at 10 AM. The announcement comes after rumors circulated that Xiaomi's AI-powered smart glasses will rival Meta's Ray-Ban partnership.

With significant design improvements, the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses 2 are a sleeker and more comfortable option than the previous year's model. The temple arms of the revised frame are only 5 mm thick, making it 26% thinner at its narrowest point and 30% thinner at its broadest. With a weight of just 27.6g, the glasses are now more equally distributed to relieve pressure from the nose and provide comfort for an extended period of time.
Durable Frame Features
Developed over a period of one year, the frame's sophisticated "piano steel ultra-flexible hinge" ensures longevity even after 15,000 bends. The glasses also include a second-generation quick-release system that enables one-handed lens shifting due to its 70% thinner hinge design. Five different frame types are available: deep-space titanium, classic Boston, hybrid aviator, metal aviator, and hybrid browline.
Enhanced Audio Performance
An enhanced acoustic structure provides improved audio performance, providing noise reduction and increased loudness. Advanced algorithms in a four-microphone array improve call quality, and a unique privacy mode that combines anti-leakage membranes and reversed sound waves drastically lowers sound leakage. The Mijia Glasses app allows users to immediately activate this feature.

One-touch recording, which allows for instant transcription without a phone, is activated by repeatedly tapping on the temple. A notice light illuminates anytime the recording is in progress to allay privacy worries. In addition, the glasses feature voice assistants, have real-time audio broadcasting, and are IP54 dust and water resistant.

Impressive battery life is also provided by the device, which can play songs for up to 12 hours, chat for 9 hours, and standby for 12 days. A 10-minute charge yields over four hours of audio time, and 2C magnetic rechargeable technology allows for a full charge in just one hour.
