LG is equipping its next-generation flagship phone with 2K resolution

In order to compete with Samsung, its rival South Korean company, LG is equipping its newest flagship phone, the G3, with a 1440×2560 quad HD display which is a fancy name for 2K resolution. While the size of the G3’s screen is unknown, it’s rumored to have a 16-megapixel rear camera and an eight-core processor. The new smartphone is expected to launch sometimes in the second half of 2014.
