The Galaxy S5 smartphone is now on sale so Samsung’s next big handset launch will be the Galaxy Note 4. Here we look at the rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date, price and specs, including rumours that it could be unveiled at a Samsung Unpacked launch prior to IFA 2014. Ok, Samsung hasn’t mentioned the Galaxy Note 4 by name but it’s not hard to work out what the next model will be called. So far, the Korean smartphone giant has only referred to it as the next or new Galaxy Note.

While many had initially mocked Samsung at the idea of creating a phablet with the original Samsung Galaxy Note, safe to say that today, most smartphones are considered to be of the phablet variety, and that the Galaxy Note series is still reigning supreme. This is why we can only imagine that just like the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note 4 is a highly anticipated handset from Samsung. However the question is, when will they launch it? Will Samsung be using IFA in Berlin to launch the handset like they’ve always done? Well according to Android Geeks’ source, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be announced on the 3rd of September. Their source was apparently spot on with the Galaxy Note 3’s launch back in 2013, so perhaps this rumor could be worth keeping an eye on.
