We love cars. Cars have made our lives simpler and easier to manage. We can go longer distances, run errands faster, complete daily tasks quicker, and are able to get from A to B in a shorter amount of time. Simply put, for the majority of us, life would not be the same without our vehicles.

Nonetheless, just like everything else in life, cars don’t last forever and as a result, we end up buying a newer vehicle and abandoning the older one in our backyards, etc. This is when nature takes over and turns vehicles into an art-like creation. How to move your Facebook photos over to Google+

Here is a quick tutorial on how to transfer your photos from Facebook to your Google+ account. It’s possible that Facebook could shut this off at any time, so do it as soon as possible if you want to do it at all.

Create an account on PrimaDesk
Add accounts, first Facebook, then Picasa (the login is the same as your Google+ account information)
Click on the Camera tab on PrimaDesk
You’ll see both accounts and your Facebook photos available
Create a matching album on your Google+ account
Drag and drop from Facebook to Google+

Head of Flickr Bails: Another Reason Why Facebook Should Buy Them

Matthew Rothenberg, the man who most believed ran Flickr for Yahoo!, announced his departure in a Tweet today. He was there when before Yahoo! bought it and he was the last leader in the company to remain.

While Yahoo! said in a press release that it was a “personal decision,” there is speculation that Rothenberg and others are leaving Yahoo! properties because of the future of the company. With so many services entering into the realm of their “sunset” at Yahoo!, who could blame them?

Why Facebook Should Buy Them

Clearly, Flickr has its flaws. Facebook has its limitations. Adding Flickr into the collective can make both stronger.

There is already a strong Facebook integration that allows logins and cross-posting. Why not make it official? If the only social site that actually grew under Yahoo! is having troubles, preserving the service through Facebook would be a win-win.

Facebook would get the much-needed quality improvement to their image interface. For many, it works because it’s all they know. The versatility, sizing, and sharing options on Flickr make it an ideal choice as a premium service to enhance or eventually replace the current method of photo-sharing that Facebook employs.

The HD upload feature on Facebook is quirky at best. Flickr isn’t perfect, but it’s much better and brings with it a batch of users who may or may not already be using Facebook.

For Flickr, the need is clear. They are already starting to lose to Facebook in the photo-sharing realm and services attached to Twitter make it easier to share and upload on that platform. Fans of Flickr are avid but dwindling. The writing is on the wall – if they don’t adapt and improve they will be crushed under the weight of the more diverse social sites.

At Yahoo!, chances are slim that they will adapt and it’s nearly impossible for them to improve. Facebook, please step in.

Times Square gets evacuated and Twitter users tell the story.

Times Square took another hit on Friday with a quick evacuation because of a suspicious package. CNN reports that a cooler was found near 45th St and Broadway and deemed to be suspicious.

With the threat of terrorists attacking again, it won’t be uncommon to see situations like this happen on the regular even more so after last weeks failed car bomb attempt.

Well how would the world ever see an empty Times Square without the power of good ol’ Twitter.

Twitter users took to their cell phones and posted photos of an empty Times Square. These photos remind me of the scene from Vanilla Sky. We have all seen images of an over populated New York city, but to see it empty shows how serious this terrorist threat actually is.
