Eyjafjallajökull. It’s either an erupting volcano in Iceland or a random pocket text that you sent to the girl from the bar last night.

By now, everyone has heard of the volcano overseas that is not only creating world history, but more importantly (to some), disrupting travel plans.

From reading online news publications, people have been angry at the fact they have to extend their vacations because of this volcano. Yes, I did write that. People are angry at extending a vacation. What kind of world are we living in where people now hate being on vacation.

But some people were actually looking for flights into this country to view the historic volcano for their own eyes.

Icelander, Sean Stiegemeier, was growing tired of seeing the same images over and over of this volcano and decided to venture out there and video tape this event for himself.
Only using a digital DLSR, Sean, and his trusty Canon 5D MKII, managed to capture some amazing footage and he has displayed it online for the world to see.

  1. I jumped on Wikipedia and read the article, but it was a lot like walking through pudding: slow going and afterward I felt kinda dirty.
