Spotify wants its users to spam Twitter on its behalf

A significant chunk of Twitter is made up of spam anyway, so why not add your own spam into the mix. That’s the idea behind Spotify’s new Tweet the Beat feature, which automatically displays a fullscreen popup ad on mobile devices and its desktop client which encourages users to start shooting off tweets. These pop-ups will appear randomly while users are playing or searching for music.
