Possibly confirming rumors that the next LG-made Nexus smartphone will have modestly high-end specs, Android Police is reporting that the Nexus 5 (2015) will have have a 5.2-inch display at 1920×1080, 3GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon 808 processor. As for the camera, the device will reportedly have a 12.3MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, as well as a 2,700 mAh battery. While these are solid specs, they’re still pretty lackluster when compared to other flagships from this year, but maybe that’s a good thing, that way it’ll be more affordable. 

The 2015 Nexus 5 is likely going to be an exciting device for Android fans looking to run Marshmallow as soon as possible after release and without any kind of OEM and/or carrier customization. In fact, this might be further indication that the newest Nexus won’t burn a hole in your wallet. A reliable source talked to Android Police and described the basic specs for the upcoming Nexus 5 handset and it matches exactly what recent leaks have claimed. The phone will supposedly have a 5.2-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and Andreno 418 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage, 12.3-megapixel camera, 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, USB Type-C connector (either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 connectivity), 2,700 mAh battery and Android 6.0.
