IBM is donating $100 million in software to Chinese universities

IBM has announced a $100 million Big Data and Analytics skills creation program for China. As per the IBM U-100 program, IBM will donate IBM BD&A software worth $100 million and provide expertise to support 100 universities in China. The long term program aims to create the next generation of data scientists at three levels: set up BD&A Technology Centers in 100 universities, launch undergraduate and graduate programs in 30 universities and create a Center of Excellence at five universities.
