Gemini AI Integration Spotted in Samsung One UI 8 Watch Leak

According to a recent leak on X,  Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8 Watch update for Wear OS may include integration of Google’s Gemini AI. The discovery, made by tipster IposDev and reported by Android Authority, reveals new details about how Gemini could enhance smartwatch functionality.

Gemini Features Expected in One UI 8

Analysts and X-leaks suggest that One UI 8 may have 

  • Voice commands: It is speculated that the popular voice commanding feature will be available with Gemini integration. However, it is being suggested that it would be more precise and humane than the available models. 
  • Meeting Schedule: It is expected that AI-assisted calendar management will be integrated in One UI 8. 
  • Email summaries & weather reports: It is expected that this AI assistant feature will be integrated into One UI 8, but chances are low.

One UI 8 Release

Market analysts are expecting that Samsung will launch One UI 8 in the third week of May. However, it is expected that the May release will be available in limited markets, and a complete rollout will be by the end of June. 

Samsung One UI 7 Faces Delay 

The launch of Samsung One UI 8 has brought the delays in the One UI 7 launch into the limelight. Samsung is also being censured for updating only a few Galaxy devices to the Android 15-based update in the previous launch.
