The iPad Gets A Stylus, Well, Unofficially

The iPad has been dubbed as a device for content consumption and not creation, but one person wasn't willing to live with that. Adam Kumpf went as far to actually create his own stylus for the iPad so he could better interact with art-focused applications on the iPad. It works too.

The stylus was created by using materials like conductive foams, fabrics and some everyday items including an anti-static sock and pencil. Patience helps as well.

As can be seen in the video above, it actually seems to work flawlessly, and it looks like fun too. Maybe this could serve as a legitimate replacement for those expensive Wacom tablets as well?

Either way, we are left wondering how long it will take until someone tries to market something more robust and professional as a solution for drawing on the iPad, as it is bound to happen, eventually. The iStylus, anyone?
